Chapter Eleven: I Keep Losing the Script....

Last time you where here we had left our travelers leaving Dmitrii's gate...They've left and...I lost my script. Let's just drop in on them.

"'Mitrii I swear you're acting like your on crack," Sachie muttered as he drank some cold tea.

"I can't help it! Ryo let me have some egg nog earlier and I can't get it out of my system. Plus I had a lot of sugar in my tea."

"Well get it out of your system, you're acting like Oomlaut."

"Shut. Up."

Oomlaut was sitting with Bii and the rest of the ladies drinking some god awful carbonated drink. (That she drank just for the sugar.) She blinked at the comment, "Gee you think that you've seen me on a real sugar high. I practically swing from chandlers when it's really bad!"

Bii cringed, "Ha. You need to see Sachie on a sugar high. Now that's scary."

Sacheverell cleared his and begins to walk out of a tavern. They had been there for a while once they had found civilization....but it was getting boring and they had to find the other gates soon. Otherwise...something bad would happen....

"I guess we're going. Waiter!" Bii called out and paid the bill.

They all walked out the door in high spirits (I mean as close as the get...) and stood there. Clueless.

Dmitrii looked to Sachie while holding his egg, "Now what?"

"Why are you asking at me?"

"Well gee; you were the one who walked out here Sherlock."

"Thanks, but I'm not blind or deaf."

"Then answer the question," Velare muttered.

"I don't know! I'm not the leader!" He turns to Bii.

"I'm not," She looks at Dmitrii and Oomlaut.

"Don't look at me," Oomlaut shrugs, "I just follow you guys."

"And I'm in no condition to lead," Dmitrii nodded and looked toward Chuutou, Fumei, Sunil, and Velare who had happened to grow in the past week into a handsome Magick Haken with some issues.

Velare shook his horned head, "Don't look at any of us. We aren't pack mules either."

The dragons nodded in the background.

Dmitrii sighed, "We can't JUST stand here and watch the grass grow."

Chuutou looked at the ground, "There is no grass."

"That's not what I meant. We can't just stand here and do nothing."

"Good point," Velare shrugged the best he could, "I think I'll pick up some girls with my cuteness...or maybe some guys."

"Gah...too much information there."

"Can we please go somewhere? I'm getting bored. Really, really, really, bored." Oomlaut looked around the empty street. For a port city this place was so boring...and the red light district was huge. Scary!

*We wouldn't want that happening.* Sunil thought, *I really miss Zelda.*

"There there!" Fumei waved a metal claw, "You'll see her again!"

*Yeah...*

"Hello? Why are we all just standing here?" Dmitrii raised his voice.

"Because we have no leads to follow and nothing to do," Bii supplied her brother.

He just muttered, "Then let's randomly wander or something."

"I'm up for that!" Oomlaut bounced happily.

"I guess we could find some leads on the gates that way...Come on." Bii began to walk away for the group to a random shop. Hopefully this would go well.

***

"Hey Mister, Do you know about any "gates" around here?" Dmitrii was leaning on a counter top in a bar, egg slung over his back in the magical pack (yes the Oos where sitting on the top).

The bartender shook as he looked at 'Mitrii spotting his wings he screamed, "AH! THE HEAVENLY DEMON! WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!" He went running out the door in a panic along with the rest of the drunks.

Dmitrii sat there whamming his head against the counter top. He had been getting that responds from everyone he had asked about a gate. Actually the whole group had been getting spastic responds about them being the down fall of TORO.

Aenka jumped on to the table, Kuroi following, and she sits in front of Dmitrii. "Every thing will be all right, and Kuroi and I promise to protect you and the Bishel at all times."

"Thanks but I don't think we'll need it. Thanks for the offer thought," He had stopped banging his head on the table and had folded his arms to set his chin in. At this point he was really annoyed and was about to rip something apart. What a day.

"Do you want to know why they are running from you?" a male voice--the same voice form the gate incident--said in a happy tone.

Mitrii looked up to see a cat-like man. Well...he had huge deep red cat like ears near the top of his head. They had green tuffs giving it a christmasy appearance. His face was definitely human, but he had two marks (Much like Sachie's) on his face in green. His skin was the color of coffee, and in place of hands he had paws and claws. His dress was normal, just a white shirt and some jeans, but a tail poked out of his pants. It was also feline and also had a nice green tuff on it. This guy was quite a character.

With his golden green eyes he pressed up to Dmitrii's face, "Do you want to know or not?"

"First I want to know who you are? Second I want to know why you're here. Third I want to know why you keep on harassing me."

"Okay, My name is Keeper. I'm here because I'm getting paid, and lastly I'm harassing you because I'm getting paid. Is that good enough for you?"

"Um...I guess...."

"Do you want to know why they are running away or not kid?"

"Shoot."

"Right then. There's this legend about a group of people coming to destroy this town and then your entire little world. A demon angel will come with his companions and open a gate of death and destruction. And Guess what?"

"No...guessing...” 'Mitrii muttered hugging himself a bit.

"You..."

"What?!"

"Can...chose what you become!"

"Oh? That's all you have to say?" Kuroi looked at Keeper with great expectations.

"Well, that and don't open the gate here if you want to keep your sanity."

"You mean there is a gate here." Dmitrii shot up wide eyed.

"Yes. But Muffin says not to open it and what she says means business."

"A muffin told you this?"

"Idiot! Muffin is a very important lady and she controls your sorry little world."

"So you're saying she's God?"

"NO! I'M SAYING SHE'S IMPORTANT AND SHE LIKES YOU! So, there for, do as she says."

"You've got some anger problems. Did you ever think of anger management?"

"Shut up."

"You are really disgruntled aren't you?"

"You have no idea."

"Uhahaha....why aren't you gone?"

"Because...I don't want to go back to that place."

"You're not staying here with me."

"Watch me. I'll make sure you don't open the gate."

Dmitrii got up and grabbed the Oos. With a huff he stalked out of the bar into the completely empty street. "Guys?" He looked around, the whole town was empty. Not even a mouse was around.

"Your friends are at the other side of town," Keeper called from inside.

'Mitrii muttered, "Thank you." and continued to walk off.

***

"Why do you think this happened to me? I'm not antisocial or anything....I do my best to be nice to everyone!" Dmitrii sat sulked on the ground with the rest of the group near him.

Bii, who was sitting next to him sighed, "What now? We need to find a different gate and soon...but we where supposed to open sixteen...what about this one?"

"The guy said not to open it if we wanted to keep our sanity."

Sachie mused, "Sure this guy's info was safe?"

"I don't know at all. He did talk about someone called Muffin though..."

Velare laughed, "Sounds like a fruit basket to me."

"Hahaha, I am not a fruit of any kind." Keeper’s voice came from beside 'Mitrii.

"Go away."

"The Muffin has another message for you."

"Say it and leave."

"You're going to meet someone sometime in the near future. So I suggest you open the gate of Strife in the city of Pomarius. That's the closet gate you need to open. Just ignore this gate for the time being." Keeper nodded, "Carry on."

"Bye...." 'Mitrii sighed as he set his head in his knees. This mission was getting on his nerves...at lest on good thing came out of it.

On this thought we shall end the chapter since the narrator has no idea how this one should end. Anyway if you see my script tell me won't you? Farewell dear readers!
