The dragon was greeted by a very sharp set of talons. He struggled under the weight of this new force, but it refused to yield.
A blazing light filled the cave, to reveal a very... cuddly dragon with very sharp claws pinning the poor old dragon to the ground. Oddly enough the fuzzy dragon was just as shocked as the old dragon by the light.
Another dragon was in the room with them. This one was most definitely female, and in her mouth was a crystalline ball where light was being emitted.
*S-sister! what are you doing here?* The dragon who was on top of the old one asked.
*Oh, nothing much Bekina, just doing my job.* On closer inspection this dragon seemed to be from a completely different clan. Her fur was short, barely even noticeable, here eyes were rounded and a bright blue, and lastly she was the tallest dragon in the room, standing on for extra long legs. Now, why had the first one called her sister?
*Gayle!* The thick furred dragon did his best to justify his actions. *I was on duty, I just saw something strange so I decided to check it out and I found him!*
The female, Gayle, looked over the pinned dragon with interest. He was a grayish blue, had brightly colored eyes, and had a few battle scars. He, she assumed it was a he, was interesting enough and seemed relatively harmless. In fact it seemed that he had no ill intentions toward either of them.
She gave a stern look to Bekina, *Get off of the poor dragon!*
*But--!*
*Kindly, remove your talons from him or I WILL tell Leader that you've been skipping duty once again!*
Bekina quickly removed his talons and helped the dragon up. The older dragon winced, he now had four large sets of holes in several places on his body. He thought bitterly to himself, *I should be more careful. In these dreaded times they've lost faith in all of us.*
Bekina nudged the older dragon, *I can heal you if you would like.* He seemed meek now that the older female was watching him. *By the way, what's your name?*
The old dragon perked up a bit, *Kyna, and it would be wonderful if you could at least stop the bleeding.*
A toothy grin spread on the young dragons face. He said, *I can do far better than that! I'll make you feel better than you ever have!*
He did a splendid job.
They had traveled to the inner chambers of the massive network of caves. Some of the places they had been through were teeming with thousands of other dragons, big and small, furry and otherwise. But this place they had come to was like a tomb.
*Why does Leader have to be so creepy about all of this,* Shivered Bekina.
Gayle sighed, *It's just for intimidation of enemies. You know very well we've been having trouble with the other clans.*
*We are getting along with yours! I don't understand why the other clans are so different.*
*Maybe our wise guest could tell us, because I most certainly have no answer.* Gayle looked to they dragon they were chaperoning too the Leader of the Clan. He kept his gaze on the ground as he spoke, she had noticed that.
He simply said, *Hatred is the hardest thing to over come.*
Both Gayle and Bekina reflected on his words. He was right, in every respect of the word. They themselves had hated each other with a passion, until they gave each other a chance. They had found out they had far more in common then a brother and sister would, so they decided to give each other a chance. The little risk, had a huge reward. They were now impossible to separate.
*So dragons hate because they're afraid to give each other a chance.* whispered Bekina.
*Exactly,* replied Kyna.
A short "Fwee!" sound came from Bekina.
Gayle smiled at her "brother" and at Kyna. It was nice to have dragons like them around. If only all the clans could get along, life would be much easier.
*We're here,* Gayle said abruptly.
They had reached an intricately carved entrance. Images of heroes, hunters, and anyone who died bravely were carved into the archway. Other things, like leaves and other symbols or prosperity were carved into the arch way, but that was all. It proved that the owner of this cave was pompous and ignorant of real world.
They entered the room slowly, as if waiting for something to strike them down any moment. Magical firelight dimly lit the room, and it flicked when all eyes came to the shadowy figure who sat in the back of the room. One dragon was as black as midnight, even with his fur he gave off a rather frightening aura. Besides that dragon was a older one with no fur. That dragon was nearly pink, and gave off a somewhat cheerful air. They both seemed out of place sitting together like that.
*Gayle! What isss thisss that you bring in my presssensse?* The black one said elongating any "s" she came across. Yes, it was most definitely a female dragon and she was most definitely the Leader of the Clans in the area.
*Leader Dalv, You requested that we bring you any intruders. We found this dragon at one of the entrances near my patrol.* She gave the dragon a graceful bow.
Dalv signaled for the pink dragon to leave through another entrance before walking up to inspect the stranger. She hissed lightly examining his odd coloration. With a snap of her tale she called for the guards to bind him.
Four dragons of random size and type emerged from several openings in the room. Each tried to bind the dragon, and each failed miserably. Even when magic was applied Kyna could not be bound.
Both Bekina and Gayle knew what was going on, and they protested claiming that he could not be bound because he was a god. It had been told in all the childhood stories, poems, songs, and any other tale. This was the only explanation for such an event.
But no one listened. They dismissed them as being fools for believing in fairy tales. It was sad that they did not realize that they were the fools, and they were punished for being such.

Kyna sighed. Had all of Luka and Ghal's teachings been lost? No, not all, but most of them. The dragons were left with fragments of greater tales, and of their heritage. This would not do. This would not do at all! He would do his best to sent things straight, and make these to dragons two new teachers.
They did seem to understand Col's true meaning after all.
*E-excuse me?* Bekina squeaked a bit when he tried to get Kyna's attention.
*Yes, What is it Bekina?*
*Where are we going and are you really--*
His "sister" smacked Bekina upside the head. *Show some respect.*
Kyna could not help but chuckle. *I'm leading you to a place where I can teach you and give you gifts. Oh, and yes I am Kynadtuli.*
*Woooow....* Bekina whispered.
Gayle smiled, *So, I'm guessing that we won't be the only dragons with these gifts.*
*As shrewd as always Gayle. You won't, but I am giving you the responsibility to destroy all the ignorance. Something is coming, and if you are all left in the dark nothing will save you. It may not come in your life time, but you must pass this gift on.*
*I will,* Said Gayle softly.
*As will I!* Bounced Bekina, who was once again smacked upside the head.
*Yes,* Kyna thought privately, *They have won back my respect. If only the could win over the other gods...*

*HOW DARE HE!* Aritarg boomed from his perch on an ice covered cliff. His very own brother had betrayed him, and gave gifts to the unworthy dragons. They had sinned beyond all sins and yet the others forgave them. The Kynadtuil he knew would never put up with such nonsense and yet....
He thundered about, creating a blizzard just to annoy all who lived. He would never find a dragon that would be perfect in his eyes, until many millennia later, so he tortured the poor souls on the Earth.
Gratira the compassionate watched Kynadtuil's progress. He had many other Bishel dragons to deal with, many of them did not wish for his wise words and only looked for blood. She shook her head in sadness. What had happened to the all those carefree days? Why did she have to watch the suffering of those she created so she could protect? She smiled to herself, *Yes, that is what I will do! I will come to some of the dragons in their dreams, then some things shall be set right.* With that she set off to work on her plan.
Col d'tirra was also luckless in her job. No kindness, or love could be spread through the Clans. Very few choose the path of kindness, and most sought blood and death. She was sick and tired of the utter nonsense going on. What could the goddess do? With Aritarg watching in an angry rage she would risk the chance of a war between the gods. *But I cannot stand to see them suffer so. If we, the gods, are to do anything right we must help them, our children.* With good intentions in her heart she set out to help the Bishen Dragons one and all.

*Skittles! Skittles! SKITTLES!*
"Huhwhaatwhy?!" Skittles almost fell from his chair. He had nearly fallen asleep by this time. Things just seemed to be boring to him.
*Can you please go on?* Martia begged with her huge black eyes.
"But it's so droll. I don't understand why you want me to read this."
*First off, it's part of my history. Second, it's going to get interesting. Didn't it just foreshadow a war?*
"Uh..." Skittles re-read a passage. "Oh, well look at that."
*Will you please read some more?*
"Have it your way. So... Col d'tirra went to save the Bishen dragons..."
