Are We There Yet?
"Are we there yet," asked Taeda.
"No." Skittles said for the seven hundredth time today. "We just have that one city to go though before we can get to the temple."
"But I'm hungry!"
"Argh, I know you said that five minutes ago."
Skittles cracked his fingers, today wasn't going as well as it should have been. He sighed before giving the command for the horse to go faster.
They were so close to the destination, and yet they were so far away. It was just a nightmare that wouldn't end.

"This is one wonky town," said Taeda as she looked at the tie-dye houses.
"I normally avoid this place, but since we have to get were we're going fast we're going though it."
"I understand why you normally avoid it. It HURTS."
"You have no idea."
"What is this place called anyway?"
"I'd rather not say, but the call it the Technicolor Nightmare." Skittles shivered at the though of staying in this town for more then ten minutes, but they had to eat.
They stopped a little restaurant that looked remotely normal, and ordered until there hearts content. The happiness didn't last too long.
TWANG!
Skittles screamed in anger and shock. His coffee dripped on the floor in a little puddle. Skittles was on his knees looking at the little puddle forming. He whimpered at the site of his poor coffee.
"You evil villain! It's time to die!" said a voice from behind him.
Another voice joined the party. "Yes, evildoer! It's time for you to suffer for what you have done to so many innocent!"
"Do you know how long I've gone without caffeine?" asked Skittles in a very hallow voice.
The first voice sounded surprised, "No, but--"
"If you had come twenty minutes later I wouldn't have killed you, but it's too late for that now." Skittles spun around and threw a giant fire spell at the two heroes. Of course they ended up as two little plies of dust.
The crowd in the restaurant fell silent, and they all watched Skittles in fear. He glared at the whole lot of them, "Do any of you bloody morons want to say something."
Everyone in the restaurant held there breath.
"That's what I thought," Skittles said as he sat down. "Another coffee please.
There was a rustle of clothing and a clatter of forks hitting plates. Before they knew it everyone, including the bartender, had made there way out.
"That's an interesting way to clear a room," said Fulmen who began to dig into the food on his plate.
Skittles sighed and filled his own coffee, it would take a lot of caffeine to make things all better.

Cola and Loda'Bukira were playing chess. The egg, who had been resting for quite sometime, emitted a calmed feeling. Cola leaned back in his seat as he said "Check."
"How on earth did you do that?" said Loda'Bukira. He had been winning a few seconds ago.
"You're the god of Fate, not wisdom. Anyway when do you think Skittles is going to get here. He sure is taking his sweet time."
"You noticed that too?"
"It's hard not to."
"He should be here in about a day." said Loda'Bukira as he moved a chess piece.
Cola moved his queen, "Check mate."

"Are we there yet?" asked Taeda.
"For the last time NO. Don't make me come back there."
"Oh heaven forbid."
It was going to be a long trip to the temple.
