The Mother and The Princess
A red dragon was laying on a soft fleece blanket. She had her eyes half closed and she was staring at the site in front of her. A basket of eggs, each one with a dark blue surface and light blue spots.
Also a woman with a dark complexion sat in a nearby chair reading a thin book called, The Government of Clarus. With an annoyed sound she slammed the textbook shut. She brush black hair at her face to look at the dragon. "Have you decided yet? Echo is already long gone and Indy should get the clutch going soon."
The red dragon closed it's eyes tightly, *Nightingale, Choosing between my daughters is rather difficult.* she said telepathically.
"Yes, I can see that Faia, you've been laying there for about two hours."
Faiamitsukai finally sat up to take another examination of her eggs. *This one, the first born female, should come with us.*
Nightingale nodded in understanding. "I'll go tell Indyana so we can get out of here. Not that I have a problem with this place, things are so much calmer here."
*Oh, are you getting sick of being a Princess?* Faia gave her bondmate a smug look.
"I've been sick of it for a while now, but when we go on the new adventure things will get a bit more my style." Nightingale shook out her clothing, "I'll be back in a few minutes if I'm lucky." The young girl left to seek Indyana the creator of the creature refuge, and person who ran the adoptions for the Bishen Realm.
Faia was left alone in the silence. She looked down at the little egg, *You're going to do great things, and you're going to be just like your mommy! Then again it wouldn't be bad if you were like your daddy.* She giggled at the thought of having a wyrm like Echo running around the castle.
He thoughts were interrupted as a young Mountain haze Terran walked in. She stopped walking when she found Faia inspecting her from head to tail. *I just wanted to see the eggs,* she said when Faia had raised an eyebrow at her.
*So you are the famous Mjollnir. It's a pleasure to meet you.*
*Oh! It's nice to meet you as well. By the way I told your bondmate exactly where to find Indy. They both should be back in a bit.* Mjollnir came closer to the basket of eggs and Faia. *They're absolutely wonderful.*
*Thank you.*
There was muttering outside of the door, it was the voice of Indyana talking to Nightingale. They both entered with an excited Pierre behind them.
Pierre skiped over to Faia and Mjollnir. With a gleeful voice he exclaimed, *I'm a grandfather!* With that he proceeded to jump around the cabin.
Indyana laughed, "That's far cuter then it should be."
Faia watched her own father hop around the room. Her mother, Clarinet had come earlier, and acted far less bouncey. Faiamitsukai looked to see the expression on Nightingale's face for the fun of it.
Needless to say it was one of a kind. Nightingale slowly shook her head, and looked towards Indy. "So, Where's the paper work that we have to fill out?"
"Oh, yes it's right over here." She went to a messy desk and fished out a bluish paper. "You can fill this out right now or send it in later. When you do we'll start the adoptions."
Nightingale nodded and she took a look at the paper. "Rice?" she asked as she gazed at Indy.
"It's just a new survey."
"Ah, Shall we be going Faia?"
*Herm? Oh! Yes let's.*
So, the two of them left while Pierre was still bouncing around and the eggs were being admired. With egg in tow the two left for home.

"You've GOT to be kidding me!" Nightingale yelled at a servant. They had just told her that someone had ransacked her room, as well as Faia's conjoined one. This wasn't something you told someone when their bondmate had just given birth to a child. That meant they were both in danger.
"Y-your Highness, your mother wants you to report to her room since it's safe from all magical and physical entries."
Nightingale was about to begin a long and complicated rant before Faia stopped her. *Let's go their for the sake of my child.*
Reluctantly Nightingale nodded and they both headed to Sri's room.
As they made the egg comfortable, they both heard a rather muffled rustling sound. Nightingale discreetly created a fireball in the palm of her hand as Faia warmed up for her a fire attack of her own.
They both spun around and threw their attacks, creating a large fireball of the intruder. To their surprise the fire dissipated faster then it should have. It revealed a very interesting man who wore shackles around his wrists and had several wings sprouting from his back. His long brown hair flowed nearly down to the floor, and his eyes were the strangest shade of blue-gray.
The red dragon flapped her wings with fury and growled at the intruder.
He, whoever he was, smiled and came closer to the two. Nightingale spoke first, "Take another step and I swear I'll kill you."
"Oh, Really? I highly doubt you could kill a god, but you can take your best shot."
Nightingale glared at him and held a fireball in her hand. "You must be a god to get into my mothers room like this. Why did you come here and are you the one who's been in our rooms?"
"I haven't come to hurt you, and I never set foot in either room. That was a fool who's now dead. I've come to speak with you about the egg."
Faia growled even louder and edged closer to her child. *How dare you come here and demand my child go with you.*
Nightingale let the flames in her hand grow brighter, "Do you swear by your godhood to leave us unharmed no matter what?"
"I swear."
Nightingale let her flame go out, and she took a seat on the bed. "Faia, let's listen to the man."
Slowly Faia made her way up to the bed and wrapped herself around the egg with her wings folded. *Speak now, before change my mind.*
"Thank you, here is the story..." He, as you may have guessed, proceeded to tell the story of Skittles. They both listened not judging until they heard the very end. This was a very odd story to hear, and when it was over they were both stunned to silence.
"So, May I have the egg to give to him?"
Nightingale looked to Faia, "What do you say?"
*This Skittles character is strange. I think he would be a good bond for my child, but I must ask, why this egg?*
"It seems the only logical choice. He could never take care of the twins, and the male is already taken."
*That leaves three other eggs besides this one.*
"This egg was chosen by you, so shouldn't you know the answer to your own question?"
Faia looked at the god, Loda'Bukira, even though the other eggs were her daughters she admitted this one gave off a strange aura of sorts. It didn't make her better then the rest, it just made her different. Each egg was unique in it's own way, but this one was going to have a striking personality. *You may take the egg and the paperwork, but if this young man hurts my daughter in anyway I will kill him four times over, understand?*
"Perfectly, I'll tell him your words."
Reluctantly and silently Faia gently gave him the egg. With amazingly gentle hands the god took the egg. As quickly as he had come he disappeared with the flutter of wings.
Faia curled up on the bed with Nightingale beside her. *I hope she'll be okay.*
"She will, and she'll grow up to make you proud."
They both fell asleep, wondering what was going to happen to the eggs and what the future would bring.
