No Sprite for you!
Martia sat on the back of the new horse curled up in a tight ball. She had grown over the weeks, but it surprised her how little she really did. In her little ball of safety she pondered the events of the past few weeks. Sprite had died, Skittles had lost most of his interests, the angecur had kept quiet in all of the events, and Martia was left to clean up Skittles emotional mess. All in all everything was awful.
They were off to the city of Ithea that was known for its culture clashing. From rare races of elves to the common, everyday human, it could be found there. Why they were going Martia was not entirely sure, but she knew it had to do with En'dai.
Martia looked up as she felt the horse slow. They had come to the entrance gate, which was carved from the best white marble with stunning designs all along it. As they passed through the gate flower petals flew past their faces. This town was not just the home of the culture class but the home of eccentric. Everything in this town always had embellishments.
Bouncing on the back of the horse Martia squealed, *Isn't this great Skittles? Look at all the people!*
"It's just wonderful," he replied softly not really meaning what he said.
Martia puffed up a bit. If he was going to be sulky today that was fine by her. Today was the day she would bring him from that awful little "hangover" he had. *Let's quickly get the En'dai's temple.*
Skittles nearly slipped off the horse, "Why would you even want to deal with En'dai?"
*If I'm to help you destroy the world, shouldn't I be involved with your talks with En'dai?*
"I... guess."
*Good. Then let's get moving!*
"All right...."

En'dai looked completely human that day except for one swirl mark on his face. He looked in the high priest's mirror and rubbed his pale peach skin. "This color really doesn't suit me." He sighed and went to sit on a highly ornate chair. He did not have to wait very long for someone to disturb his peace.
The door of the chambers swung open to reveal a very tired looking Skittles and a rather bouncy Martia. Skittles thrust the little dragon into En'dai's arms and stormed out.
Martia looked directly at him, *We need to talk.*
"Really now?"
*Yep.*
"This wouldn't have anything to do with Sprite's demise would it?"
Martia nodded, *It has a lot to do with it.*
"Make yourself at home, this may take a bit."

People. Why were they always around? Why did they cause him so much pain? He simply hated them all. No one could change that. He let out a long sigh.
Skittles was in a small bar. That is if you could call it a bar. One other person sat with him since the angecur had left to go shopping for heaven knows what. He was in this place because he couldn't believe that his dragon was negotiating with the god of Death.
Saying that he was surprised was an understatement.
He sipped his iced tea while pondering the past events and the mess Martia was going to get him into. It just seemed his life became more and more difficult as the days went on. In fact, he suspected that at any minute someone would barge in and want revenge for someone he killed or maimed.
The door hinge clicked as a girl dressed in black walked into the dinky little place. She seemed quite out of place with her bright blonde hair, violet eyes and dark skin. She was one of those people who read depressing poetry and lamented about life. It definitely did not fit that she was equipped with a short sword and a quarter staff. She sat down next to Skittles and made it quite obvious that she wanted to speak with him.
Skittles brushed his fingers through his hair. "What do you want?"
"You are Remix?"
"Yes... What do you want from me?"
"My name is Sunny, and I would like to say Thank you."
There was a long pause. "For what?"
The girl gave an eerie smile, "For getting rid of a particular man who looked similar to me."
This girl just had to be insane. He had not killed anyone who looked remotely like her recen--Oh wait. She was related to that evil man who claimed to be a hero. "You're welcome."
The girl let out a sigh like something was finally off her chest. Yet... she still sat there next to him as if she was waiting to say something. The awkward silence lasted between the two for about thirty seconds.
Then Skittles said, "You're not going to kill me later are you?"
The young girl grinned, "If I have anything say I won't."
Skittles still wasn't convinced, but he let it go. It had been about an hour since he had left, so it was time to go. He could get away from this creepy little girl.
He prayed that Martia hadn't done anything stupid.

Skittles squinted. Why did everyone have wings?
En'dai was standing with his back to Skittles. His giant decorative wings were blocking the werewolf's view into the room quite nicely. What was everyone trying to pull anyway? They knew that he was lost without Sprite, even if he would never admit to it. They knew everything after all.
They were now whispering, to each other. This could only lead to something bad.
En'dai flipped around carefully, making sure not to hit Skittles and not to reveal what was behind him. "All right Skittles! We've managed to come to an agreement."
"Fine. What is it?"
"You officially agree to improve your workmanship for the price of Sprite's life."
"Al--What?" Skittles wasn't sure if his hearing had decided to go or what.
"You heard me quite clearly."
Skittles stuttered. It was the only thing he could really do.
En' dai rolled his eyes and grabbed Skittles by the hand. Carefully he lead the werewolf into the shabby little backroom.
What came next was unexpected by all.
Skittles fainted.

*Skittles! Skittles! SKITTLES!*
Skittles took in a deep breath. "Ow...."
*Oh, thank heavens you're all right!*
He didn't bother to open his eyes.
"I told you he'd be fine, Martia." said Sprite.
Wait? Sprite? Skittles was just about to explode. It was not very logical that a person can come back from the dead. Then again, what in this world was logical? Skittles sat up and cleared his throat before opening his eyes.
He looked Sprite up and down in awkward silence.
She simply smiled at him waiting for him to say something.
"So..." Skittles said quietly.
"What?" Sprite's eyes widened.
"You're still as flat as ever."
"I'm going to kill you Skittles!"
