Dolls that cry in sorrow

General Information

Living Dolls - These dolls are made of something similar to porcelain, through, at first touch a person would think they are in fact human, because of the soft and warm feeling. When the soul is attached to the doll, they doll gains the ability to move freely, and has the ability to do various simple things like facial expressions. The dolls do not eat, they do not sleep (through, they can rest mentally if they choose to do so), and they remain unchanged by time.

Requiem - In undisclosed location in the Dark Forest. The "garden" where the dolls live has sections devoted to each of their original homes. Any human who were to enter the garden would be struck by the likeness of a doll house. The area of the garden is a complex in itself is undetermined, and approximately twenty experiments live there. Only three residents, including Jin-ho, were originally human and are human size as well. The other dolls are products of artificial experiments to create intelligent dolls using the souls of animals.

The climate is generally warm, and it rains sporadically, but often remains gloomy, even when the storms have moved out. Once, and only once, when Jin-ho created the place, it snowed, but never agian. Time has no meaning for the dolls, but Jin-ho is probably the oldest member of the complex, at approximately twenty years as a doll.

Domain of Spades, Jin-ho - The Ace's home is similar, on the outside, to his childhood house. The outside is painted red, with a black tiled roof. The outside is surrounded by various plants, mainly red and pink roses. The inside, however, is filled with various bits and pieces of junk, like chains that hang from the ceiling. More often than not, Jin-ho doesn't stay at his house, he leaves and wanders around the area outside of the requiem. The area surrounding the house is protected by a magical barrier.

Domain of Clubs, Matisel - The Joker, her domain is elaborate, and designed for a prissy person like herself. She keeps many magical object with her, reminding her of her former life as a sorceress. She does not stray far from her domain, but she looks at the outside world using her crystal ball and her favorite animals--cats--so she doesn't lose sight of what living like a real human is. She allows any doll to come into her domain and she holds no grudges.

Domain of Diamonds, Haven - A former elf, the Jack has some issues with his "new" body. Despite the fact that he looks very similar to his former self, he finds that any reminders of his home make him sick--mentally speaking. (He's not fond of the black eye shadow and lipstick either) As a former hunter, he prefers to stay close with nature, and keeps a small one room place, with a wide open area for archery practice. Most of the dolls, especially the "broken" ones, tend to stay at the edge of his domain.

Domain of Hearts, Nkiru- The youngest of the know human dolls, she is called the queen. The former knight only remained a short time in the complex, where she left her mark by leaving her sword in the ground with her favorite hair ribbon. No one enters this part of the garden.

Free domain - The rest of the domain is left for the other dolls. Some sentient because of the artificial experiments, the others are not so lucky. The garden varies from beautiful with large flowers of bright shining colors, to deep and gloomy places like swamps.
